HI there so story goes I bf my ds until 6mths when my supply all but dried up (symptoms being low weight gain and him constanly fussing at boobs as if not getting anything, they felt flat and saggy rather than full and i could not get a drop out of them when expressing!) My dd is 4mths and things look as if they are heading the same way. her weight gain is slowing (even for the wow bf babies chart just on 95gr per week) and she is starting to fuss at times when i feel my boobs arn't full. She is currently getting 2 bottles of either ebm or formula a day on MCHN advice. As the title suggests I don't feel this makes me a failure as a mum but I am frustrated by pro bf who think that it is impossible for milk to dry up or be weak I want to keep bf but ultimalty its my babies health which comes first! Is there anyone else who feels the same? all the presssure to continue bf only whilst others say to supliment and yet again others who say give up its all doing my head in.! vent over thanks for reading
